Obituary for William Nelson Hayes
William Nelson Hayes, age 78, died peacefully on June 13, 2021. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Margaret Hayes, two sons Fredrick Hayes (Marnita) and Roderick Hayes (Arlisa). His parents Thelma and O.D. Hayes and brother John L. Hayes preceded him in death. He is also mourned by three sisters, Brenda Crommie (Maurice)deceased, Maxine Bowles (Emanuel) and Jacqueline Hayes and one brother, Thomas Johnson. William had six grandchildren, Fredrick (Lil Fred) (Stephanie), Ariana, Honoria, Rhyan, Kirsten and Elijah who will miss him tremendously. His Uncle Al (Ann) along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives are left to grieve. Services will be held June 19, 2021 at Harris Memorial CME Church located at 1572 S. Lauderdale Street. Wake 9am- 9:55am, Funeral Services at 10:00am. The Serenity Funeral home has charge of the remains. Burial at Calvary Cemetery.
