Theresa Gadison, 72, died December 21, 2018.
Theresa Gadison 72, was born on June 16, 1946 in Leland, MS to the late York and Willie Mae Gadison. Theresa was raised in Leland, Ms. In 1976 Theresa moved to Chicago, IL and she made that her home.
On Friday, December 21, 2018 at 8:00 pm, Theresa transitioned into the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She departed this life at her home while on hospice care with the love of family surrounding her. “The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh, blessed be the name of the Lord.” Job 1:21
Theresa was baptized at an early age, She held her faith and trust in God throughout the struggle of her life journey.
Theresa was employed with Ma’Dear Home Services in Chicago, IL for several years until retired in 2014. After retirement, she relocated to Memphis, TN in 2017, to be with her family.
Theresa was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
Theresa leaves to celebrate and cherish her life, her daughters Alisha D. Gadison of Chicago, IL, Keshia L. Gadison of Memphis; two sisters, Doretha (Arthur) Stapleton, Linda (Henry) Pratt of Memphis; two brothers, Willie Gadison of Memphis, Jerry Gadison of Kansas City, MO; one aunt; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
