On June 26, 1960, God graced Robert Lee Hamilton Sr. and Betty Jean Hamilton, with the birth of their daughter, Robin Lynn Hamilton. She was the second daughter out of six children, born at John Gaston Hospital in Memphis, TN. Robin, transition from this life on Sunday, August 2nd, 2020: at her residence.
Robin Lynn Hamilton-Reynolds, attended Dunn Elementary School, Memphis, TN. And she graduated from Overton High School, Memphis, TN. in1979. Robin went on to study Cosmetology from Empire Beauty School in Memphis, TN.
Robin received Christ at Grace Temple C.O.G.I.C. in Memphis, TN. At a revival conducted by the Hamilton Brothers, in January 1976. Due to life’s circumstances she fell short of Christ, but God knows how to bring his child back to Christ. On January 18th, 2009, at a revival, Robin return to the Lord at the Howard Temple C.O.G.I.C. conducted by her father, now the Jehovah Jireh C.O.G.I.C., Elder Raymond Hamilton is the pastor. As she continues her new journey with Christ, she met and married Winston Fredrick Reynolds, and they were united in Holy Matrimony on February 18th, 2010, in Memphis. TN.
She never lost her faith and when God called her to Heaven, she was ready and faithful. Robin Lynn, was a loyal member at the Golden Gate Cathedral C.O.G.I.C. in New Albany, MS. Her pastor was her father, Elder R.L. Hamilton Sr. Robin was a songbird, that loved to sing songs, “Going up Yonder” and “Trust in Jesus” were just a few of the songs. The church was never the same after Robin sung and blessed the house.
Robin has her “Sister” Regina M. Coleman as well as her “First Born Daughter” Toya Shameka Brittenum, welcoming her to God’s Pearly Gates, that preceded her in death. She was also the mother of two adorable daughters: Lakeesha Faith Thomas, & Erika Tremaine Watson. Robin also leaves behind precious memories, her husband Winston F. Reynolds, Her parents, Robert & Betty Hamilton of Cordova TN. Two Sisters, Cathy Hamilton-Coleman of Atlanta, GA. Pamela R. Castanada (Javier) of Los Angeles, CA. Two brothers. Robert L. Hamilton Jr. (Tammy) of Houston, TX. Norman Fontaine Hamilton (Kia) of Germantown, TN. Four Granddaughters; Alexia Brittenum, Ciara Faith Thomas, Mikaela Sinnett, & Aria Watson. Three Grandsons; Alanzo Brittenum, Cedric Earl Thomas Jr. & Chadwick Earl Young. Two Stepsons, Winston Reynolds Jr., DeAndrius Reynolds. And four sisters-in-law. She also leaves a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins & Friends, to cherish her beloved memory.
