Obituary for Peggy Annette Flake
Peggy Annette Flake, 71, died February 23, 2016. Peggy was born in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Harvey D. and Dorothy Clark Conaley. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Linda Kay Cooper, and one brother, Alton Clark Conaley. She is survived by two siblings, a sister, Elizabeth Conaley Power and a brother, William Richard Conaley (Linda).
She graduated from Messick High School in Memphis. Even though she was afflicted with polio at an early age, she nonetheless overcame this severe disability through extraordinary determination and very strong will power. Moreover, Peggy was known for having a wonderful sense of humor and a sharp wit as well. She had a passion for fishing and camping, and she enjoyed the racetrack at Greyhound Park and the casinos in Tunica. Peggy lived her life to the fullest!
She leaves to cherish her memory two children, her beloved son, Kevin Wade Conaley and a precious daughter, Suzanne Belanger Honrath; two darling grandchildren, Alex and Amanda Graf; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
