Obituary for Patricia Ann Williams
Patricia Ann Williams, 67, died December 2, 2019.
Patricia Ann Williams was born on December 6, 1951 in Greenville, Mississippi to the proud parents of Buster Rooks and Dorothy Alexander. Later, the family migrated to Memphis, Tennessee where Patricia attended Booker T. Washington High School and Memphis Area Vocational Technical School.
Patricia confessed hope in Christ at an early age and would attend Oakville Baptist Church. In 1971, she married Charles Williams Sr. and to that union was born three sons and a daughter, Terra Williams (who preceded her in death).
Patricia was full of life and loved to laugh and have a good time. She loved old school music, loved dancing, enjoyed people and loved to cook. Everyone loved her cooking, even the neighbors, as she would share with anyone that visited. She loved her family and friends and would often times help bare their hurt as well as their pain.
Patricia was employed at Memphis Housing Authority, where she worked for years, until her health began to fail.
On December 2, 2019, Patricia left this life, leaving behind all the memories for loved ones and friends to cherish. Her oldest brother, James Alexander Jr. of San Francisco CA preceded her in death. She leaves her sons, Christopher (Johnnie) Wi lliams, Gary (Christine) Williams of Tampa FL, Charles(April) Williams Jr., one sister- Gwendolyn Henderson, one brother-Rodney McDowell of Houston TX and an aunt-Modeana Alexander, 8 grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
