Obituary for Ozell Dodson
Ozell Dodson, 82, died February 24, 2017.
Ozell Dodson was born to the late Rodell Dodson, Sr., and the late Annie Hayes- Dodson on January 27, 1935 in Barton, Mississippi. He accepted Christ at an early age at the Shiloh MB Church under the leadership of the late Reverend I. D. Cheers. He later joined the New Haliburton Missionary Baptist Church in Olive Branch, Mississippi under the leadership of the Reverend Steve A. Dodson.
Ozell was a loving brother to his brothers and sisters. He loved to play his guitar and sing. He did all types of labor work as a self employed servant. He departed this life on February 24, 2017 at the St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his parents Rodell & Annie Dodson, Seven (7) brothers: Evell Dodson, Jonathan Dodson, Eugene Dodson, Lee Dodson, Sr. Floyd Dodson, Sr., Ulysses Dodson and Jessie T. Dodson, Sr.
Ozell leaves to cherish his memories, 1 Daughter: Lorice Williams, Three (3) Sisters: Annie Rose Washington, Inola Newton (Ronald) and Lola Marshall. Four (4) brothers: Frankie B. Dodson, John Dodson, Sr., Roy B. Dodson, and Rodell Dodson, Jr.
He also leaves to cherish his memories a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
