Obituary for Lisa Suzanne Deutsch
Lisa “Suzy” Deutsch, 49, of Germantown passed away on November 17, 2016 at St Francis Hospital after a short illness. A memorial service will be held at a yet to be determined date after the first of the year.
Ms. Deutsch was born October 4, 1967 in Oak Harbor, WN a daughter of Tom and June Deutsch. She leaves behind the love of her life, her son, Joshua Andrew Benore, her parents, a brother, Chad (Jennifer) Deutsch, nephew Anders Deutsch and niece Ava Deutsch, plus numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother Tommy (Gina) Deutsch.
Suzy graduated from Bartlett, TN High School in 1985. She received both her undergraduate degree and MBA-Logistics from University of Tennessee—Knoxville, TN and completed post-graduate Educational Psychology courses of study at the University of Memphis.
Her extended and broad business career included positions with Nissan Motor Corporation, Modus Media International, Accenture LLP, Federal Express and a number of years as an Independent Contractor in business sales, marketing and analysis. Her ability to assimilate and analyze large amounts of data and information was impressive and often mind boggling.
Suzy had a vast network of friends from all walks of life and all over the world. She had a particular affinity for her experiences in and the people of the Netherlands and Israel. Her zest for life, adventurous spirit and curiosity of the world drew people to her instantly. She was also one of those rare individuals that could always be counted upon stick with you through thick or thin. Being a “Big Sister” after graduating college and supporting many charities and causes demonstrated her compassion for those less fortunate than herself. She was an especially ardent caregiver to and defender of the downtrodden whether individuals or animals.
Memorials to Suzy’s life may be made to Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, Youth Villages, The Church Health Center of Memphis or the charity of your choice.
“Farewell Dear Suzy, Fly With The Angels And Be At Peace. You Are Loved And Missed So Much.”
