Leonard Thomas Butler, 87, died July 16, 2018.
Leonard Thomas Butler was born on July 19, 1930 in Bolivar, Tennessee to the late Rosie and Willie Butler. He accepted Christ at an early age.
Leonard was united in Holy Matrimony to Earline Hayes Butler in 1943. To their union two children were born, Mary E. Johnson and Larry D Clark.
Leonard was employed by Ivers Pond Piano for 36 years. He was a member of the King Riders.
Leonard was preceded in death by his son, Larry Clark. Leonard’s memory will be forever cherished by his daughter, Mary Johnson; grandchildren, Chanel Wilson (Sanford Bratcher), and William Johnson, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Marion Butler, Thadis Wilson; Mario Matthew, LaQuitta Clark, LaVita Clark, Laebonne Robinson; great-great grandchildren, Taylor Butler, Jahmir Russ, Aubree Burnett, Caiya Johnson, Jonathan Johnson, Camryn Johnson, Calin Johnson, Lance Clark and Laquentis Clark; siblings, Ernest Butler of Dayton, Ohio, Johnny Lee Butler of San Fernando, CA, Lavern Butler of Dayton , Ohio, Rosie Mae of Jackson, TN, Velma Jean and Otis Butler of Humboldt, TN, Alexander Butler of Chicago; one grand son-in-law, Sanford Bratcher; one daughter-in-law, Lita Clark ; nephews, Tony Carter, Augusta Gipson, Leonard Gipson, Tommy Lee Butler; godson, Billy Reed and a host of other relatives and friends
