Joseph (Joe) Edward Powell was born in Dyersburg, TN on April 19, 1968. He loved life and loved fiercely those in his life. Joe had a great sense of humor and many interests. Among them were his love for music, playing guitar, and cooking. He loved the LORD and had a kind, generous spirit, always giving to those less fortunate.
Joe is preceded in death by his father, Joe Edward Powell, his mother, Deidra Lynn Reilly, and his younger brother, Johnny Powell. He is survived by his fiancé, Robin McPherson, his older sister, Jodee Sturm (spouse Chris), Brighton, TN, two younger sisters, Jacqueline Powell, Southaven, MS and Jami Reilly, Dunedin, FL, two nephews, David Strube, Jr., Memphis, TN and Nicholas Strube, New Orleans, LA and his nieces, Lauren Whan, Camp Point, IL, Ana Bernot-Reilly and Grace Bernot-Reilly, Dunedin, FL.
