Johnny B. Tate, Jr., 23, died June 4, 2018.
Johnny Tate, Jr. was born in Memphis, Tennessee to the loving parents of Shemekia Tate and Johnny Tate. He was the oldest of three children and was special to all that loved him. Johnny was fourteen when he accepted Christ into his life and was baptized at The Church of the Nazarene in Frayser. He was acrobatic, enjoyed basketball, loved his family and friends, and was a comedian at heart.
Johnny leaves to cherish his memories, his son Wealthy McEmtee; mother, Shemekia Tate, his faher, Johnny Tate both of Memphis, Tennessee; two sisters, LaShirley Tate and Sara Wilson; four grandparents, Shirley Blackmon Davis, Johnnie Mae Tate, (John Eddie), and Thurman Barringer, all from Memphis, Tennessee. His aunt, Kimberly Tate; his uncles, Deadrick Tate, Michael Blackmon, and Thurman (Camela) Blackmon; a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, friends, and one nephew.
