Johnnie Lee “Buddy” White, Jr. was born to Jewell Murphy White and the late John Lewis White on August 14, 1950, in Charleston, MO. He enjoyed a life of travel and a distinguished career with the United States Army. He was a highly decorated veteran and a recipient of the Bronze and Purple Heart Medals.
Buddy departed this life on September 25, 2016, at his home surrounded by his devoted wife, his daughter, Davia, and a host of family. He leaves behind to cherish his memory a wife of 12 years, Doris; 4 daughters, Davia Abston White, Terra White, Mrs. Terracca Miller and Keyshanna White; 2 sons, Johnnie (Laura) White and Raylin White; 17 grandchildren; 3 great grand-children; 2 sisters, Shirley Burgen and Shanelle White; 2 brothers, Eddie White and Eric White; his mother, Jewell Murphy White and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Ann White.
