Jeanette Moore Sullivan, 77, died November 20, 2016

Jeanette Moore was born July 14, 1939 in Grand Junction, TN to Carrie Freeman Brewster and James Moore who preceded her in death. She was later raised by Donnie and Henrietta Moore who preceded her in death as well.

She confessed her hope in Christ at an early age at Stinson Chapel C.M.E. Church, in Rossville, TN. She departed this life on November 20, 2016.

She was a member of New Stinson Community Church.

She was a Professional Artist and Musician. Her career started early in her life at the age of 14.

She was employed by Trozel Manufacturing Company as well as Carrier Corp. as a quality control Inspector. After 31 years of service, she retired in the year of 2000.

She received various awards and recognition. She served as Minister of Music for various churches such as Isom Chapel C.M.E. Church, Hudsonville C.M.E. Church, Thomas Chapel Baptist Church, Stinson Chapel C.M.E. Church and New Zion C.M.E. Church as well as others.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Cornell Winton, Jr. of this union three children were born. She later in life married to Cornell Sullivan, to this union, one child was born.

She leaves to mourn her passing two daughters, Barbara Ann Winton and Christan Sullivan of Rossville, TN; two sons, Cornell Moore (Tasha) of Chicago, IL and one infant son who preceded her in death, Calvin Winton; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Rubesta Taylor of Memphis, TN and Terri McAfee (James) of Mt. Pleasant, MS; five brothers, William Scott Moore (Deborah) of Mt. Pleasant, MS, Ralph Moore of Slayden, MS, Rickey Robinson and L. C. Robinson; one aunt, Reverend Clara Love of Oakland, TN; three play sisters, Betty Jordan (Earnest), Annie Louise Wright (James), and Bishop Gloria J. Moore; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and love ones to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 25, 2016 5-7 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home, 1638 Sycamore View Rd., Memphis, TN and Saturday, November 26, 2016 from 11-12 at New Stinson Community Church, 230 Fraizer Rd., Rossville, TN. With funeral immediately at Noon.
