James (Jimmy) C. Drew III, 53 years old, passed away July 17th, 2023, at Regional One Medical Center. Jimmy was born August 10th, 1969, to father, James C. Drew II, and mother, Nona (Vinson) Ratliff. Jimmy was a beloved son, father, brother, husband, and friend.
Jimmy was a hard worker and a skilled craftsman, working most of his life with his hands. He was the kindest of souls who loved the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. Jimmy knew that this life on earth was only a steppingstone to eternal life in heaven and always treated people with the utmost kindness and concern. Jimmy had a wonderful smile and a great sense of humor, and his presence will be sorely missed by those that love him.
He is survived by his son, James C. Drew IV, his mother Nona Ratliff and stepfather Willard Ratliff, his wife, Laura Drew, siblings, Tammie Drew, Samantha Stewart, Nicole Smithey, and Timothy Ratliff, and a multitude of other family members.Jimmy was preceded in death by his father James C. Drew II.
