Obituary for Helen Marie Boddie
Helen Marie Boddie, 70, died February 24, 2020.
Helen Marie Boddie was born on November 27, 1949 to the late Philistine Thomas and Joe Kershaw who preceded in death. She was married to Malone Boddie who's preceded in death. She was a member of DownTown Church of Christ under the leadership of Pastor Jeffery Mattews and Anthony Woods, where she received Christ as her Savior.
Helen is preceded in death by her sister Wanda Salter and brother Joseph Thomas. She have two living sisters Elizabeth Thomas and Marjorie Thomas both live in Memphis.
Helen worked with Shelby County School as a Custodian worker for many years. She attend Melrose High School.
Helen Marie Boddie leaves to cherish her loving memories two daughters, Michelle McKinney Franklin and Valerie Boddie. One daughter Marie Thomas and son Joseph McKinney preceded in death. Seven grandchildren, which she was loved dearly by her granddaughter Shuntail Taylor. Host of nieces, nephews,cousin's, aunts, uncles, and friends.
