Hardy Christopher Wooten, Jr (Sonny) passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015. He was preceded in death by his precious wife of 50 years, Virginia Carol Ellis Wooten. He leaves 3 children; Mary Schroeder (Corey), Wendy Fortner (Tommy) and Brian Wooten. He leaves his grandchildren: Joshua, Amanda, Kayla, Ethan and Evie and Kelsey, Sean-Thomas and Nick. He also leaves his brother: Billy Charles Wooten (Mary Lee), and two sisters; Cathy Clark (Mike) and Sherry Lloyd (Tommy) . Services will be at West Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church on Saturday, August 1: West Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 3099 West Union Rd, Millington, TN 38053 Visitation at 10 am and funeral will be at 11, graveside following. His precious wife, Gin passed away in February and he missed her so much. Her birthday would have been on Aug 1, so what better way to celebrate her birthday than Sonny going to be with her.
