Eula Mae Winfrey was born February 17, 1930 to Mary and Monroe Reed of Charleston, MS; she was 1 of 10 children. She departed this life on December 02, 2018 at the age of 88. Eula was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Winfrey, her parents, Mary and Monroe Reed, her 8 brothers; Monroe Reed, Spencer Reed, Eugene Reed, Lee Willie Reed, Earnest Reed, O.T. Reed, Jimmy Reed, and Johnny Reed, and her son, Nathaniel Hall.
Eula accepted Christ at an early age and she worshiped at Greater Faith in Memphis, TN. Eula was a loving mother and homemaker. She loved to cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family, most especially over the holidays.
Eula was a devoted wife, daughter, mother, sister, and grandmother. Her precious memories will live on through her sister, Grover Lee Walker; her children, James (Sue) Winfrey, Donna Burtwell, Flora Barnes, Rochester (Helen) Winfrey, and Dana (Buster) Townsend; 18 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 22 great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends that loved her dearly.
