Erick A. Burton, Jr., born December 15, 1979 in Stuttgart, AR, passed away September 6, 2020 in Memphis, TN at the age of 40. He is survived by his father, Erick A. Burton, Sr. (Linda); his mother, Janet Fleming and stepfather, David A. Fleming Ill; brother, Scott Steele; son, Tyler; sisters, Angie Tibbett and Jade Story; grandparents, Florence Burton and David and Rose Marie Fleming, Jr. along with numerous aunts, uncles and first, second and third cousins.
Preceded in death by grandparents, Erick Burton, Frank and Gladys Derrick; uncles, Aaron Burton, William (Bill) Derrick; and Aunt, Renee Sailor.
Erick served in the U.S. Navy and lived in Arkansas, Louisiana, Georgia, Oklahoma, Florida and Tennessee and was blessed to be surrounded by a wonderful loving group of friends and family everywhere he lived. Erick was kind, loving and would give himself to anyone in need. Erick loved nature, hunting, fishing, golf and his church family. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten by those who loved and knew him best.
