Obituary for Eric Jamison Whalum
Eric Jamison Whalum, 26, died July 19, 2018.
Eric Jamison Whalum was born March 24, 1992 in Memphis Tennessee, to the proud parents of Ms. Montrice Bowers Whalum and Fredrick Roy Whalum. He was the youngest of three sons and brother to all that knew him. Eric was baptized as an infant at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and was enlightened by The Mother Ida Belle Bracey Tuesday Prayer at age six wherein he began his journey of awareness with Christ. Eric loved people, crowds, football (all sports), music, cooking, building, laughing, smoking and all with having a mind of his own and doing what Eric wanted to do!
Eric graduated form Ridgeway High School and attended Southwest Community College with a major in education.
Eric leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Ms. Montrice Bowers Whalum; father, Fredrick Roy Whalum; two brothers, Fredrick Maurice Whalum (Santiago), James David Whalum (Ebony); two nieces, Zanyla Denise Purdie , Lyric Sophia Whalum; one nephew, Connor Roman Whalum; His biggest fan club & 1st Cousin, Ms. Angela N Staples (Michael, Josh, Sean, Chloe & Liam); one Aunt of Knoxville; one uncle of Memphis; two great aunts of Memphis; two great aunts of Atlanta; A host of cousins and loving friends from all over the world as far as the African Continent.
