Dorothy Mae Pearson was born March 12, 1935 in Vance, Mississippi. She departed this life on February 23, 2019 at 4:30 am surrounded by loved ones. Doll Baby was a great school teacher in Chicago, Illinois. Doll Baby accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. Doll Baby is preceded in death by her parents, Carrie Williams and Theodore Pearson; along with two brothers and two sisters.
Doll Baby is survived by two adopted granddaughters, Tequilla Smith and Monica Buckley; two adopted great-grandchildren, Dallas and Keria; four sisters, and one brother. She leaves behind three aunts, Ellen Dickson (Earnest) of Chicago, Baird Mae Monday, and Bessie Monday; one special cousin, Julia Banks; sister-in-law, Margie Williams. She also leaves to cherish her memory a host of other family, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
