Obituary for Doris Williams
Doris Elizabeth Williams-Penix was called home to the Lord on December 5, 2016. Mrs. Williams-Penix was born on August 11, 1941 in Fayette County, Tennessee. Doris worked as a pastry chief for the Memphis City School System for 41 years. Mrs. Williams-Penix was a member of First Baptist Broad, where she served on the Mother's Board and as an usher with a charismatic personality.
Doris was born to Rosie and Clinton Kilgore. She is survived by her 3 children: Linda Penix-Davis, Reginald Penix and Samuel Williams; grandchildren: Audrey Davis, Candace Davis-Love (Byron Love), Keysha Penix and Lisa Williams; a host of great grandchildren and cousins.
Mrs. Williams-Penix's Memorial Service will be held at First Baptist Broad on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 11:00AM. Repast to follow.
