Obituary for Donna Rhea Hayes
Ms. Donna Rhea Hayes was born at 11:27 a.m. on May 4, 1954 to Mr. and Mrs. Clarence and Sallie Hayes, Jr.
Donna confessed her hope in Christ at an early age at St. Stephen Baptist Church, Chelsea.
Donna received her education at Hamilton High School and was a wonderful caregiver of children. Donna loved children, and although she never had children of her own, she cared for them as though they were hers.
Donna departed this life on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at 8:04p.m. at Methodist University Hospital.
Donna leaves her beloved parents Mr. and Mrs. Clarence and Sallie Hayes, Jr.; one brother, Michael (Randi); one sister, Sheron Hayes-Moore, and a very special and loving friend, Gwen Tyne. Donna also leaves two special nephews, Charles Moore and Jerald White and one special niece, Dia Roger (Martin). She is also survived by two aunts, Bettie Hayes and Lenora Colter; two nieces, Tamara Hayes and Tesha Shaw; along with a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends who will mourn in her passing.
Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation Society, 1632 Sycamore View Road, Memphis, TN 38134.
