Darlene Hopkins, 61, died August 8, 2018.
Darlene Hopkins was born January 23, 1957 to the union of Wiley Donald (whom preceded her in death) and Mrs. Mae F. Donald. She confessed hope at an early age Mount Bethel Church in Saulsbury, TN.
She graduated from Middleton High School, Middleton, TN in 1976, and attended Union University. She later became a Registered Dietary Supervisor at Allenbrooke Health Care.
She was preceded in eternal life by one brother, James Wiley Donald Jr.; and two sisters, Pauline Donald and Linda Harris.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Mitchell Hopkins Jr.; three children, Chanda Donald, Kelvin Donald (Cara Donald), and Krystal Donald; four stepchildren, Aretha Hopkins, Michelle Hopkins, Patrick Hopkins (NaShanay Hopkins) and Mitchell Hopkins III (Jana Taylor) all of Memphis, TN; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and relatives; three sisters, Sarah Warren, Peggy Donald, and Mary Mason; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, HL (Hattie) Hopkins, ML Hopkins, Bernell (Selena) Hopkins, David Hopkins, John Hopkins, Laura (Ray Jones) Hopkins, ReJeana Hall, and Ozell Loggings; her close childhood best friend, Mattie Gilliom; close friends, Geraldine Brown, Debra Rowsy and Levi Smith.
