Obituary for Danny R. Yarbrough
Danny Ricardo Yarbrough, 56, began his earthly journey on September 18, 1959 in Garrison, Texas. After residing in Houston, Texas for many years, he later moved to Memphis, Tennessee his home and resided for almost a decade. He and his family joined God’s House of New Beginnings where he remained faithful. He entered into rest on Monday, October 26, 2015. Dan will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him because his kind spirit and ministry reached many.

Danny was the sixth son of eleven children born to Lonnie B. Yarbrough and Annie Lee (Watts) Yarbrough who preceded him in death. Three siblings, Kenneth Edward Yarbrough, Ray Charles Watts and James Lynn Yarbrough also preceded him in death. He met and married the love of his life, Estella Billingsley-Yarbrough at Mississippi Valley State University and to this union Danny Ricardo II and Nia Danielle were born. They celebrated 31 years of marriage on June 16th.

Danny is survived by his wife, Estella Billingsley-Yarbrough, two children, Danny Ricardo Yarbrough, II and Nia Danielle Yarbrough; nine brothers, Dr. Raymond E. Watts of Houston, Texas, Robert Wayne Watts of Timpson, Texas, Joe Nathan Watts of Lovelady, Texas, Michael Jerome (Deanne) Yarbrough of Houston, Texas, Steven Bernard Yarbrough of Houston, Texas, and Keith Labrun (Tammie) Yarbrough of Garrison, Texas, one sister, Ms. Sonya JoAnne Yarbrough of Nacogdoches, Texas.

He is also survived by his Father and Mother in Love, James Charles Woods and Freddie Mae Billingsley-Woods of Memphis, Tennessee: one brother-in-love; Bobby L. Billingsley (Tenesia), two sisters-in-love; Ms. Anita Woods and Mrs. Alisha Marshelle Woods-Chambers (Carl) of Memphis, Tennessee: one Aunt, Mrs. Mable Annette Yarbrough of Fairfield, Texas; and one great aunt, Mrs. Mattie Garrett, of Austin, Texas.

Danny was honored to have five special nieces who will cherish his memory; Janice Wilson, LaQuista Garrett, Jacquelyn Williams, Phiera Billingsley, and Skyler Chambers. One special cousin Linda Chimney-King. There are also a host of other relatives and many friends who will remember him.

Danny is returning home to God with an empty cup. He finished the race and with God's grace, we have an Angel above.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2015 and Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, November 7, 2015 all at Serenity Funeral Home, 1638 Sycamore View Road.

Burial in Memorial Park Southwoods.
