Obituary for Dallas Humphrey Jr.
Dallas Humphrey Jr., 32, died October 16, 2018.
On February 3, 1986, in Memphis, Tennessee, Dallas Lee Humphrey and Shelia Fields Humphrey were blessed with the birth of a son, whom they named Dallas Lee Humphrey Jr.also known as "DJ". "DJ" transitioned to his final resting place Tuesday, October 16, 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee.
"DJ" professed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined Golden Gate Cathedral in Memphis, Tennessee under the leadership of Bishop Edward H.Stephens Jr. Als in his early childhood "DJ" and his family moved to Daon, Ohio and united with the Pleasant Green M. B.Church under the leadership ofDr.Hence C. Coats. "DJ" participated with the youth auxillary in church affiliated activities.
"DJ" attended Dayton area schools. He was very competitive, outspoken, and outgoing. He met and befriended many in his lifetime. He loved and participated in competitive sports especially football and basketball. "DJ"was a renowned Dallas Cowboys Fan.
"DJ" will deeply be missed and his memories always cherished .He leaves three children, LaMyah Rose Bayliss (Columbus, Ohio) James Thomas (DeJan), DeJalyn James Knight (both from Da on, Ohio). His parents Dallas Sr. and Shelia Humphrey.Two Brothers, Christopher (Vernice) Terry of Memphis, Tennessee, Daren Humphrey (Cleveland, Mississippi). One Sister, Elandria Wilson (Dayton, Ohio). He also leaves Two nieces, Three nephews and Special Friend, Shuntae Davidson, Godmother Julia Jones, a host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins; and countless number of friends.
