Obituaries

Carol accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age. She and her husband diligently worshipped and served Christ together at Grace United Methodist Church, where she was the food pantry coordinator, sang in the sanctuary choir for over 20 years, served as chairperson of the Finance committee, and assisted as a giving counter and church counselor, among many other things. She strived to be the hands of Christ in both her personal life and her working life. Her passion for serving the underserved later evolved into her work with the United Methodist Neighborhood Center, where, for several years, she was responsible for several food pantries. She also worked tirelessly for the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals and was dedicated to helping youth reach their goals and grow to their fullest potential.
In addition to her husband and daughter, Carol is survived by her parents, Albert and Lillie Glenn, her brothers Marvin Hudson (Christina) and Albert Glenn (Janice), sisters Andree Glenn (Steve Gadbois), Kathy Miller (Kenny), and Sheila McVay (Gerard), sisters-in-law Anita Gentry and Theresa (Samir) Malik, a brother-in-law, David Laster, a host of beloved nieces, nephews and numerous relatives and friends whom she loved and who loved her.
