Obituary for Bruce Lamont Evans
Bruce Lamont Evans, 59, died October 27, 2016.

Bruce Evans was born to Reed Lewis Evans Sr. and Margaret Evans on February 11, 1957. He was the youngest of six siblings. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Forrest Evans; two sisters, Marion Evans Walton and Lynn Evans Ward.
Bruce accepted Christ at Koinonia Baptist Church. He loved the Lord and studied the Bible diligently.

Bruce was an alumni of Hamilton High School and Shelby State Community College. He was a voracious reader who also enjoyed sports, grilling, setting up marine aquariums and traveling. He often displayed his special brand of humor, teasing and laughing. After a career in Information Technology, he retired from FedEx in 2013 as a Senior Technical Specialist.
Bruce, a caring son, brother, uncle and friend, will be dearly missed. Family members who will cherish the many memories include his devoted siblings, Debra E. Evans and Reed L. Evans Sr. (Emma), along with his very special nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
