Brenda Love, age 71, passed October 6, 2023.
To our Mama
She was 5 feet in stature but her heart stood six feet tall. Her walk with God was daily but she didn’t play about her loved ones at all.
Perception didn’t matter because she always knew whose she was. Her character never wavered even when her last name changed from Chisum to Love.
Her laugh was infectious and she told corny jokes galore. She would text them daily making you shake your head , while silently saying oh my goodness please no more.
Her style was unmatched, impeccable from head to toe. One thing she was going to do is look the part even if she had no where to go.
She lived life on her terms without regret and even when she fell ill she strongly said “Baby I’m not done here yet”.
When she grew tired we encouraged her stay, and she always agreed but we knew God would have his way.
You’re no longer here and our hearts are now numb. But we find comfort knowing you’re in Heaven rejoicing with your loved ones.
You told us not to cry and to celebrate you , so daily we pray to God to guide our hearts on the honorable thing to do.
To some she was a friend, WOG, sister, grandmother or aunt and she filled those roles with love but to us she was OUR Mama and we now have a guardian angel up above.
